Petr Cizner has been taking photographs for over 40 years. He has utilized visual communication in various professional roles. He has photographed and produced publications as a guide, manager, university lecturer, researcher, sales representative, and management trainer. He was guided to a professional level of photography by Brno artist Michael Vystavěl at the Elementary Art School (LŠU) in the field of fine art photography, and later also by the world-renowned British photographer Derek Bayes.

He is the photographer and graphic designer of the successful book *Life on the Streets 2020*. He developed a new methodology for effective photo selection called "Musical Analogies for Perceiving Photographs," which he presented on a radio program titled Photographer Petr Cizner. From late 2024 to mid-2026, he will have 10 solo exhibitions.
